Should any positions become available, applications can be obtained at the Office of the Administrative Secretary, Wilkes-Barre Twp. Municipal Building, 150 Watson Street, Wilkes-Barre Twp. PA 18702 between the hours of 8am & 4 pm (excluding normal holidays).

To become a police officer, requirements of the position are that indiviuals be at least 21 years of age, a high school graduate, and have a current Act 120 Certification from the Pa. Municipal Police Officers Education and Training Commission. Persons with prior police experience and availability will be given preference, but law enforcement experience is not required to apply.
